pamelaandersonbig_443_01London: Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson has claimed working in “Playboy” was like a “family” affair.

The former model who first posed for the adult publication at the age of 22 insists she never felt exploited by the magazine’s founder Hugh Hefner when she stripped for pictures and was always comfortable in his company, reports fametastic.co.uk.

“It felt like a real family environment. Once I got to know Hugh Hefner I saw that he was, in fact, a real supporter of women. ‘Playboy’ wasn’t exploitative at all and it was my decision,” she said.

The 44-year-old also revealed she was encouraged to flash her flesh by her mother who thought it would help make her more feminine after she was approached to pose while working as a waitress.

“My mom was supportive – she told me to go for it. I was always a tomboy and she thought it would be good to look back on one day,” she said.

love_or_money_310Love has no major role to play in keeping couples together. In fact, the chances of a couple staying together are affected by age, previous relationships and smoking.

That’s the conclusion of a new study, which was conducted by researchers at the Australian National University.

To reach the conclusion, boffins spent six years monitoring 2,500 couples who were married or living together, reports The Daily Express.

The study found that money played a major factor in deciding whether a couple stand the test of time.

The study, entitled “What’’s Love Got to Do With It”, showed that a quarter of partnerships and marriages will end within six years and half will be over within 25 years.

It also found that a husband who is nine or more years older than his wife is twice as likely to get divorced, as are husbands who get married before they turn 25.

Couples were twice as likely to split if the wife had a much stronger preference for children or for more of them. Smoking and drinking rates also contributed to relationship breakdown, the study found.

First shoes are much closer to a girl’’s heart than her first kiss, says a new survey.Be it a pair of Jimmy Choos or ones picked from a flea market, more than 92 per cent of women remember the time when they first bought shoes with their own money, the study found.

Less than two, however, in three recalled the name of the person they first kissed, reports The Telegraph. The study, which included more than 1,000 women, found that 96 per cent of women said they regretted having thrown away a pair of shoes, while only 15 per cent felt sorry for breaking up with a boyfriend.

Experts said the reasons behind women’s fondness for footwear were down to their shoe buying habits.Glendon Lloyd, director of website tszuji.co.uk, which commissioned the survey, said: “These results show that women are even more attached to their footwear than previously thought.

“People always think of women storing old love letters in a shoebox, but in many cases, the shoes themselves are even more precious..”Women treat shoes like best friends. And it seems their footwear memories last longer than those of their past lovers.
